Abstract

In contemporary educational discourse, the relationship between values and pedagogical science has gained increasing attention due to rapid social and technological transformation. Pedagogical science traditionally focuses on instructional strategies, learning theories, and classroom practices, while values provide the ethical framework that guides educational objectives and human development. The present article explores the conceptual and practical relationship between values and pedagogical science and highlights the importance of integrating ethical perspectives into contemporary educational practices. Drawing on philosophical perspectives, moral development theories, and contemporary educational approaches, the study examines how teachers can cultivate ethical awareness, empathy, and responsible citizenship among learners. The article also discusses emerging challenges associated with digital technology and media environments. The analysis suggests that value-oriented pedagogy enhances students’ engagement, promotes critical thinking, and supports character development. Integrating ethical perspectives into pedagogical science is therefore essential for preparing learners to respond effectively to complex social and ethical challenges in contemporary education.
