Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into various sectors has necessitated a revaluation of traditional legal frameworks. This paper explores the need of laws in response to AI advancements, examining the shift from conventional legal principles to technology-driven regulations. Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis of secondary data, the study identifies key areas where AI intersects with legal systems, including data privacy, algorithmic accountability, and intellectual property. This research employs a qualitative approach based on secondary data analysis, sources include academic journals, legal documents, policy papers, and reports from international organizations. This paper highlights the challenges and opportunities presented by AI in the legal domain, emphasizing the need for adaptive legal structures that balance innovation with ethical considerations. Findings suggest that while AI offers efficiency and scalability, it also introduces complexities that require nuanced legal responses. The paper concludes by proposing a framework for legal adaptation, advocating for international cooperation and interdisciplinary approaches to ensure that legal systems remain relevant and effective in the age of AI.
