Abstract

The food processing in India Place a vital role in limbing agriculture production with industrial development and consumer market. It contributes significantly to Employment generation value edition in agriculture,export earning and rural industrialisation . How over the sector is increasing facing challenges from two major transformation climate change and the implementation of the goods and service tax GST, climate change effects agriculture productivity, supply chain stability and the availability of raw materials required for food processing industries. At the same time,the GST reforms introduced a unified tax system that altered logistics, pricing structure and the operational dynamics of the sector. Aries silent food processing industry is crucial not only for economic growth but also for ensuring food security and sustainable development in India
