Abstract

From Health to Wealth: How Accessible Health Care Fuels Economic Development
Abstract
The perception of awareness in today’s society has been changing from the saying “health is wealth” to the more updated version “wealth is health". New findings in research indicates that longer life expectancy and greater health are now seen as means, not ends, of economic growth; rather, they are seen as a method to decrease poverty and advance economic development. Better health therefore does not need to wait for an economy that is doing well; rather, actions to lower the cost of illness, lengthen life expectancy, etc., will help to make economies wealthier by increasing production, productivity, and employment numbers. This is known as universal health coverage where everyone should be able to afford the necessary, high-quality healthcare without being driven into poverty to obtain it. For this the government intervention will play a crucial role. Government engagement in health services is justified by the idea that, by lowering the costs of healthcare for the impoverished, public policy promotes more justice, better health outcomes, and a decrease in poverty. Given that the free market is unable to generate goods that have negative externalities, the government can accomplish greater results than it can. This study examines the relationship between health and economic growth, emphasizing how investments in education and health may boost productivity. It is discovered that there is a strong correlation between the health status indicator and economic performance. The study examines the complex relationships that exist between economic growth and health, as well as the pertinent links with productivity, family planning, and educational spending. It looks into the relationship between health and education and how they affect economic growth. The interaction between health and economic growth is examined in this research. Economic development and health improvement can be facilitated by public financing and policy. The study finds that improvements in health indicators lead to improvements in people's socioeconomic status. The results indicate that a decrease in crude death rates or infant mortality rates had a favourable impact on per capita income growth and slowed the rate of population expansion.

Crime against Women: A Historical Perspective
Abstract
In the ancient Indian women held a high place of respect in the society as mentioned in Rig-Veda and other scriptures. Volumes can be written about the status of our women and their heroic deeds from the Vedic period to the modern times. But later on, because of social, political and economic changes, women lost their status and were relegated to the background. Many evil customs and traditions stepped in which enslaved the women and tied them to the boundaries of the house. The official statistics showed a declining sex-ratio, health status, literacy rate, work participation rate and political participation among women. While on the other hand the spread of social evils like dowry deaths, child marriage, domestic violence, rape, sexual harassment, exploitation of women workers are in different parts of India. Humiliation, rape, kidnapping, molestation, dowry death, torture, wife-beating etc. have grown up over the years. Criminal behaviour is the product of a systematic process that involves complex interactions between individual, societal, and ecological factors over the course of our lives. The Universe of the Avengers: A Rendezvous in the Marvel Universe
Abstract
Recently, in an animated movie named Batman Ninja (2018)—the scene shifted from Gotham city to the land of Nippon—Batman is seen fighting his arch enemies adopting ―Samurai convention‖ of mediaeval Japan. A location is always necessary for an action to be executed; its multi-dimensional nature gets reflected through the interplay of key elements such as Time, Space, and Settings. The Marvel Universe as a Multiverse provides a location or space in which worlds and universes of superheroes created by Marvel Comics Industry exist in harmony and balance. With the birth of the Avengers team in 1963 by the hand of Stan Lee, the universe of the Avengers occupies a pivotal place in the Marvel Universe. Like the Marvel Universe, the universe of the Avengers also creates a fictional space in which the adventure of the Avengers team takes place. The fictional space of the Avengers universe comes into existence as various superheroes from the Marvel Universe gather under one roof. This aim of this paper is to address why the fictional space or location of the Avengers team is designated as a universe. Moreover, addressing this preceding question, this paper attempts to position the Avengers universe at the centre of the Marvel Universe.
